Paul Schatz (1898-1979), the inventor of the oloid form, was a mathematician, astronomer, wood sculptor and anthroposophist. After showing the world how to turn a cube inside out, he discovered the oloid form in 1929. This form attracted attention with its mathematical perfection and special rocking movement, which is still being discussed by disciplines and philosophies at the present time.
